  8. I had no idea who shared a birthday with me so I had to google it. I didn't recognize most of the names, but here are a few that I did: Amy Grant, Jamie Grace, Ben Stein and Andrew Carnegie.

    1. That's a fine bunch to share a birthday with. I love Ben Stein's droll humor.

    2. I think Ben Stein is brilliant. I almost wish he'd run for president, but I think he's too smart for that. I just got Homestead Brides in the mail this week. I ordered it from CBD and it was on backorder for one day, which I thought was kinda funny.

    3. Backorder? That might mean good things for the authors...they sold out and had to reorder! Glad it arrived and I hope you enjoy all the stories!

And I think Ben is too smart to run for President, too. :D

  11. Happy Birthday, 2 days in advance, Erica!!

I share a birthday with the most well-known man, ever - my Savior, Jesus - Dec. 25th!! Even though I know He probably wasn't born on that day, I love the connection!!

  13. I have the least common birthday ever, so I honestly didn't know of any famous person who shared my birthday. Which is where Google came in. Apparently, Jimmy Dorsey shared his birthday with me (there were a few others, but his was the only name I knew). :)

  16. Happy early birthday Erica!! Big Bird & Mr. Rogers are great people to share a birthday with...brings back many good memories of my childhood watching those TV shows!
So I had to google some famous people since I had no idea: here's 3 that I recognized: Sam Elliot, Whitney Houston & Melanie Griffith. Also a famous inventor Rudolf Diesel (1898) of France. He was granted patent #608,845 for an "internal combustion engine" the Diesel engine. Now that's something I could get excited about :-)
Thank you for the chance to win a signed copy of "The Homestead Brides" & coffee (yummy!!).

  18. Without doing a search online, I can only think of one famous person that shares my birthday April 24th... That would be Chipper Jones, former Atlanta Braves 3rd baseman. Probably wouldn't know that, but I'm a big Atlanta Braves fan.
