  5. Stepping out of bed onto a cold floor (but then quickly slipping on my bed slippers!). Lightly falling snow-the quiet and cleanness of it, the holidays and all that comes with them, hot flavored coffee, tea and hot chocolate, (miss my fireplace) and lots and lots of time to read!

  25. I adore winter. Living in Michigan helps that. ;) I adore sweaters, mittens, boots, SNOW, and snowstorms. I love it most at night after a snowfall - standing in my driveway in the silent night and seeing the fat flakes fall slowly. It is unreal how quiet it can be after a snowfall!

  32. Hmmm...favorite thing about winter? Getting cozy in front of the fireplace with a cup of tea and a good book. I still have that childlike sense of excitement with the first snow. Not so crazy about the extreme cold we can get in MN. Actually, maybe my favorite thing about winter is being able to sleep better at night because it's cooler.

    Thank you for the contest. I like snow flakes, you know to collect and all. I dint really have any experience with snow though, I grew up in Southern California, and new as an adult I like in South Louisiana! LOL

  34. I have not had the chance to see snow before, so I love looking at all the pictures from other places where snow has fallen. I'm from Texas so we don't really have a winter except maybe a few days of cold weather.

  36. One of my favorite things is peppermint hot cocoa that I get at the deli/cafe in our local grocery store. I also love being able to easily find the arctic white hot cocoa powder. I live in Montana so we definitely get a good dose of winter for months at a time. Not my favorite season but I do love being inside with a warm fuzzy blanket and reading for hours.
