Whats Your Coffee Thursday

Thursdays at the CCC blog will simply be meeting over coffee and answering random get-to-know-you questions!  Today, I'm drinking Brazilian Rainforest with Amaretto creamer.

My qeustion is: If you could go back in time, when/where would you go? Me? I'd go to the streets of Rome in the days of Paul just to breathe in the atmosphere!

  1. I think I would go back to the early 50s as an adult.

    1. I would LOVE to know why you'd pick the early 50's? Such a unique setting and people don't usually choose that one! :) Neato!

  2. I think I would go back to the early 1800s...think pride and prejudice. Love their dresses, dances, houses, etc. This morning I am drinking Cameron's Toasted Southern Pecan, which is what they make at my workplace, with some half and half (my creamer of choice). Wishing I had some Guatemalan coffee right now, which is what I have at home! But that's okay : ).

  3. I would be tempted to go wherever my current WIP is set. In this cake, 1860's Ft. Larned, in Kansas.

I'm drinking diet coke this morning. :)

  4. Hmmm...at the moment I'd choose the mid 1800's...a bit before the Civil war. I think that was such ans interesting time in history. So many changes going on.
And coffee, well my Dad made it this morning..and I'm not exactly sure what kind it was. But let's just say it was, ahem, quite strong?.. ; )The good stuff! And no creamer for this girl. : )

  5. You mean I have to choose just one place in time? Hmm. Late 1790's. I'd like to see what my husband's 10th grt grandfather was doing after the Revolution.
    Right now I'm drinking tea--Twinings.

  6. I'd go back to the days of the Early Christians - I'd want to meet the Apostle Paul and be right by his side, seeing first-hand some of the miraculous healings he ministered through the Lord's Holy Spirit. No, I don't want to join him in prison, but, just to see the Glory of God, first-hand would be awesome!
