Historical Romance Reader's Treasure!

....and...wait for it....wait....

Yep, the historical romance reader's treasure is here to launch our website next week.

A basket of newly released historical books could be yours--FREE!

It's our prayer and hope that Coffee Cups & Camisoles will be a place for romance readers, writers, and friends to come chat about books and life over your favorite cup of jo.

Jaime and I have been dreaming of combining our blogs for quite some time, and finally here we are. We brainstormed and sleuthed our plot over coffee last weekend on our annual writer's retreat. Okay, so we've only met two years in a row, but that makes tradition right?

Jaime motored us through the northern Wisconsin fall countryside to a small town of Prairie du Sac for our lunch date. The air was frosty, the sunshine warm, and big fluffy white clouds dotted the skies. We'd decided to take a break from our morning brainstorming session where we worked on plotting our  current WIP's (works in progress--otherwise known as our current novels).

What a delight The Blue Spoon restaurant was. It's an old style building looking out the back veranda to the river. Soup, sandwiches, salads, and drinks in front. A gathering of four older folks playing folk music on a guitar, drum, and fiddle downstairs in a small back room. Their music floated up the stairs that held a cozy room of booths, and a nook of couches overlooking the front entrance. The ceiling held a set of antique ceiling fans, all turned by what appeared to be a 19th century gear system. The walls painted a warm yellow topped off the experience and matched the warmth in our hearts.

And there we sat, hoping that everyone who visits here may feel a little of what we experienced at the Blue Spoon--a treasure of friendship.

So...wait for it...wait.....

Here it is, the basket of free books and some tea called Lover's Leap from Nappanee, Indiana's teashop, Teapots & More.

Come by this week and watch for the details about the free drawing for these new releases:

So come one, come all, and...coffee up!
